WPW 409 - 'Picturing the Modern Amazon' [Digital Download]

Laurie Fierstein had a successful competitive career, and we had one photo/video session with her which is on 225. After retiring from the stage, she promoted three 'physique demonstrations', where women, in contest shape or off-season, posed without being judged. We didn't tape her first event, but the second one, 'Awesome Female Celebration', is on 285, and in 2000 she promoted this event. She joined forces with artistic friends who sponsored a three month exhibit, and Laurie invited 15 women for a posing 'demonstration' to kick off that three month art show in lower Manhattan. Among the women participating- Andrulla Blanchette, Christa Bauch, Christine Envall, Fran Ferraro, Heather Foster, Lesa Lewis, Renee O'Neill, Pavla Brantalova, Tami Wooden, Rosemary Cheeseman, Annie Rivieccio, Monica Martin and Doughdee Marie. After the routines, there was an interesting 'question and answer' session with the women. Video running time about 1 hour.
