The North Americans is a top amateur contest historically held in either Mexico, Canada or the US, and featuring top women from those countries. In recent years it has been held in Cleveland. This 1991 event featured almost 40 women, but all but a few were from the US. The top 10 in each of the 3 classes were introduced and the top five did their evening routines so you get to see name women such as Sue Price, Judy Miller, MaryEllen Campo, Michelle Ivers, Leilani Dalumpines, Judy Moshkosky, Tami Stark, Tazzie Colomb, Nicole Bass, Betsy Hoffman, Nina Melidosian, Mishay Santos, Vicki Gates, Astrid Falconi and others either waving to the audience or posing. The video starts off with 15 minutes of the audience, judges, officials, etc, 'milling around' prior to the show, then the intros, routines and awards. PLEASE NOTE: We made this DVD master off the video supplied to us by the promoter- it is great quality but has the finals only. Our original release included the prejudging also but we no longer have that master in order to include here. If anyone has a copy of the original WPW 200, please let us know and we will remaster this. Running time 1 1/2 hours.
