Most of the women in the sport gain notoriety from high placements in the national contests, but Heather has been an exception to that. She has had some stage success in regional bodybuilding contests, but that has not been the case at the national shows. Instead, she has in large part been pursuing the 'strength' end of training and has been one of the strongest women on the bodybuilding scene for 10+ years. At 5'7" she is around 190 pounds in her off-season and became notable for her very heavy lifts- mainly bench pressing. For our session, she weighed 185 and lifted heavy in the gym- a 460 pound bench press, then nearly 30 bodyweight reps. That was followed by many strict pullups, then adding 150 pounds to her lifting belt and doing more reps with that. Racking the lat pulldown machine was easy. She then does bodybuilding posing in a bikini and two dresses, and is interviewed. She was in true off-season shape- huge size throughout, but a special nod to arms which were nearly 18". Interview also included. Heather has been living in New Jersey during this span of time, and is still competing in bodybuilding shows, so we hope to catch up with her again in 2010- meanwhile, more footage of her is on 520.
