At the time of these tapings in 1993, Karla and Vicki were the two largest women we had ever done work with. We had two sessions with Karla- off season at 5'10" 200 pounds, then when she was a bit lighter when in contest shape. Her contest shape footage features repwork in the gym, posing in many outfits and an interview, but posing only for her off-season session. Karla's footage runs 100 minutes, and Vicki's hour contains very heavy and impressive lifts in the gym, physique posing in several outfits and an interview. Karla was from Minnesota and remained a fixture on the scene for several years- she did well in top amateur contests, but was always way better known for her size and strength (she was also in the 1993 Extravaganza Strength show) when off-season, as she was one of the very few women ever who maintained a 200 pound bodyweight year round. Vickie, 5'8" 185 pounds was about as impressive size-wise as Karla, and she did compete in a few contests, but she never took it to the national level for bodybuilding, instead she pursued powerlifting and Olympic lifting. Vicki was from Georgia and this was our only session with her.
